Shelf

After months of being surrounded by piles of books, magazines and paperwork, I treated myself to the Elfa shelving system. But it soon became clear that the shelves were not up to the job of supporting the heavy load of books and they started to take on a worrying sag. So I ended up yet again surrounded with piles of books and magazines with light items on the shelves which rather defeated the object. So this weekend I bought some structural 18mm plywood,got it cut to size and replaced the sad looking MDF shelves. I am jolly pleased with the result. Its extremely strong so can take the weight of everything I need it too and looks very pretty in my opinion. I love the layered texture and it also smells rather nice too.
