Lovely things on a Tuesday

Yesterday husband and I took a day off from work to drive 165 miles to Norwich and back to collect a sash window. We spent about 7 hours in the car yesterday but we saved ourselves hundreds of pounds so it was worth it. By chance a new wood sash window appeared on ebay last week that was the perfect size for our kitchen and was too good an opportunity to miss as getting a bespoke one would have cost an awful lot. We are very pleased with it and can't wait to get it in. Our kitchen currently is windowless so it will be very exciting to get the work done and have natural light and air! Although the view won't be up to much. It looks out onto a brick wall! Anyway that was a very long winded way to say that as I was otherwise engaged, lovely things on a Monday has moved to today.
